Green water under heavy grey clouds. There is almost no wind and no noise in Halong Bay. Black Kites - one of the most adaptable and resourceful of raptors - follow the countless cruise ships in search of scraps. Tall and thick limestone rock formations dominate every view. Cat Ba island has caves and communities one can visit. A cruise on Halong Bay is a great way to chill out after hectic Hanoi and Saigon. The pictures below are my own. Enjoy!
