Country Quest - French Polynesia #187

I landed in Papeete, Tahiti, this morning after a direct flight of eleven hours from Tokyo.
I chose to fly here via Asia rather than the United States despite the greater distance, because I don’t want to set foot in the US as long as that fascist moron, Trump, runs the US government.
Besides, he would probably send me straight to his favourite torture jail in El Salvador due to my hostile social media posts.
I have wanted to visit French Polynesia, since I first discovered the magic of tropical oceans in Tanzania in the early 1980s.
I am staying in an Airbnb with gorgeous views for a few days before sailing to the Tuamotus archipelago. Saw jumping humpback whales from the terrace as soon as I arrived; this promises to be a great adventure!
French Polynesia takes my Countries & Terrotories tally to 187 (out of 266), so I have now been to 70% of the world.
The End
